Does anyone is following the World Women Chess Championship?

I've been peeking into various chess forums on the web to hear the latest buzz, though of no surprise, everyone is talking about Carlsen and the championship match between Kramnik and Anand. There seems to be no one that is quite interested in the ongoing WWCC of the fairer sex as though it doesn't happening at all!. Despite being marred by controversies on and off the board that might caught everyone's interest, I mean the Armageddon issues involving the game between IM Socko and WGM Foisor and also the political issues that concern Russia and Georgia, it seems like women chess is still has a long way to go. Although chess is one of those very few games on earth that women can actually compete against the boys (and they are miserably struggling against men!) WWCC does not seem to attracts a lot of chess aficionados. Do chess really a men's game after all or there is a sex discrimination?
