PACE Summer Rapid Chess Festival

Last Tuesday, we wrote about the establishment of the first ever chess academy in the country, the Philippine Academy for Chess Excellence or PACE and it's formal induction this 27th of March in Quezon City. Coincide with this is the first ever chess activity to be organized by PACE and Philippine Chess Knights League or Philchek, the Summer Rapid Chess Festival 2010. What a start, I should say. Just barging in right away. Need to get going from the very start. It would be quite interesting to see a chess tournament and induction ceremony done at the same date, at the same venue.
