Sydney based Filipina IM Arianne Caoili finishes strong in 2008 O2C Doeberl Cup

2006 GMA Cup campaigner GM Varuzhan Akobian of US secured the title by beating GM Dejan Antic in the final round of the recently concluded 2008 O2C Doeberl Cup – Premier Section in the Helenic Club of Canbera, Australia.

The final round battle in board one between GMs Akobian and GM Antic served as the title match of tournament.

Pinay Woman International Master Arianne Caoili halved point with Neil Wright of Australia.
