Cebu open its bids for the hosting of the 2012 Chess Olympiad

Bidding for 2012 Chess Olympiad is now open.

FIDE opens the bid for the following FIDE events:
Chess Olympiad 2012 - not later than 30 April 2008
World Junior and Girls U-20 Championship 2010 - not later than 30 April 2008 Women's Team World Championship 2011 - not later than 30 June 2008
Challengers Match Topalov - Kamsky 2008 - not later than 11 April 2008


Philippines, under NCFP prexy Butch Pichay said they will bid for the right to host the World Chess Olympiad in 2012 during the 6th Asian Championship in Cebu last year.
