Kasparov-Anand rematch?

1995 World Championship: will their path cross again on the board?

"It will be great if he (Kasparov) changes his mind and comes out of the retirement. I will definitely give it a shot. It will be very exciting to play him again." says the reigning World Chess Champion Vishy Anand in an interview conducted by an Indian online newspaper, DNA (Daily News and Analysis)

If Kasparov accept Anand's challenge and the "dream match" of chess push through I bet that is going to be one of the richest, if not the richest chess events in history and can be easily surpassed the 1992 Fischer- Spassky championship match in terms of commercial success that was reported to be US$5,000,000 with two-thirds to go to the winner (Fischer). I presume that there were no less than US$2.5 million guaranteed pay check for both Kasparov and Anand if the rematch do happen. No wonder Anand likes the idea when asked about the possible meeting with Kasparov, his former tormentor.
