Torre took game 4

Eugene Torre managed to hold on on a drawish position and pull of a victory in a classic knight vs bishop endgame to even the match 2-2 against arch-rival Joey Antonio in Game 4 of their "Quezon City Chess Road Show" at Tandang Sora Shrine. The end game saw Torre after forty moves of the French, had a knight and six pawns against Antonio's bishop and six pawns. According to reports a questionable king push by Antonio in the end game--Kh8-- enable Torre to gain the initiative that enable his knight to become more active and turned Antonio's bishop into defensive role to protect his pawns much of the endgame struggle. Antonio playing with blacks pieces eventually lost by time forfeit. Game five will be held tommorow at 2 pm. (july 30) at the Shrine of Pugad Lawin,
