GM Wesley So, breached the 2600 barrier

Youngest Super GM in history?

I don't want this blog to turn out as a Wesley So's fan blog (and I posted lots about him) but according to our friends from chessPHI who are conducting a live rating of Filipino chess masters claims that indeed, GM Wesley So, 14, has just breach the 2600 rating barrier with a total of 2605 points. If my knowledge of chess history doesn't fail me, goodness me, not only that makes So the youngest ever to achieved such feat, he is also one of the youngest ever to reach a super GM status? It is interesting to see the official FIDE rating list this coming October and see if GM Wesley So is truly the world's newest chess phenom.
